UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has revealed his plans after his recent victory in the octagon. The Brazilian fighter, known for his power, suffered a fracture in his left foot during his title fight. Pereira, after regaining the 205-pound belt by knocking out Magomed Ankalaev in just 80 seconds at UFC 320, is now in the recovery process. The 38-year-old fighter expressed his desire to return to action within eight months, aiming for the UFC event at the White House on June 14th.After his victory at UFC 320, Pereira planned to challenge former heavyweight champion Jon Jones, but chose to observe a moment of silence in memory of Jones’ brother, Arthur Jones, who recently passed away. Although he has not provided a specific timeline for his return nor revealed his next opponent, Pereira has various options for his next challenge.I had an X-ray in Las Vegas and then an MRI in Brazil. It showed a fracture in my foot, but I still don’t know what’s going to happen or how long the recovery will take. I think it’s good to focus on this fight [at the White House].
